Family Action and Adventure Holiday
Based around the mountain village of Vejer
de la Frontera, this type of holiday is suitable for all
families - including
single parent families. Staying in a friendly, family run
hotel (with or without a pool, whichever you prefer), an
apartment in the village or a villa outside Vejer you’ll
enjoy the Costa de la Luz (the coast of light) and its
countryside, huge sandy beaches and pine forests.
This type of holiday offers you and your children the chance
to try out fun and adventurous activities such as surfing
lessons, kite surfing lessons, biking, archery, riding lessons
and horse trekking, quad biking and climbing. You can enjoy
these together as a family or we can arrange activities for
the children, while the adults enjoy other activities or
just relax.
In addition you can enjoy a range of fantastic excursions
to the nature reserve of La Coto Doñana, whale watching
in Tarifa and the fabulous city of Sevilla.
Spanish Culture Family Holiday
 Based
in the authentically Spanish town of Jerez de la Frontera, this type of holiday is suitable for all families - including
single parent families. Staying in a small, boutique hotel
in the heart of old Jerez, or an apartment in town you’ll
enjoy Jerez, famous for Flamenco, Sherry and Horses. The
birthplace of Flamenco, all the sherry in the world is grown
and bottled here and the white dancing horses of the 17th
century Royal Spanish Horse School perform here.
This type of holiday offers you and your children the chance
to try the traditional activities of the real Spain, enjoying
a glimpse into this rich and wonderful culture. We offer
Spanish Language classes, Spanish cookery classes, classes
in the traditional local crafts of Spanish fan making, blacksmithing
and silver beating, and Flamenco dance / Flamenco guitar
classes. Families can do these together, or we can organise
a range of different classes for the children and the adults.
In addition you can enjoy a range of fantastic excursions
to the beaches of the Costa de la Luz and to the palaces
and gardens of Cadiz and Sevilla.
Feria del Caballo (Sunday 10 – Thursday 14
May)
The legendary horse fair of Jerez, the Feria del Caballo
takes place in May.
 This
week long party has hundreds of beautifully decorated marquees and countless dancers, horses, riders and carriages parading
endlessly around the Feria ground in amazing costumes. At
night the Feria becomes a fairyland of lights and you can
be there to enjoy this amazing event.
Whether you come for the horses or for the dancing – or
just for the unique party atmosphere, we can create a Feria
holiday you’ll never forget.
Your holiday can include private Flamenco dance lessons with
a local teacher (so you’ll be dancing with the locals),
tickets to all the best horse competitions and shows or combine
the Feria with any of our usual range of activities!

a fantastic range of live music events ranging from top stadium
concerts (Bruce Springsteen, Depeche Mode) to intimate jazz

Alcazars of Sevilla and Jerez to jazz festivals by the sea,

International Flamenco Guitar Competition (12 – 16
June)
Based in Jerez de la Frontera, known as “the cradle of Flamenco”,
 Camino
Based in Jerez de la Frontera, known as “the cradle
of Flamenco”, Camino Holidays are running a Flamenco
guitar holiday to coincide with the 13th International
Competition for Flamenco Guitar. The classes are suitable for guitarists
with some experience of Flamenco guitar and would like to
improve technically and gain a better understanding of rhythm,
structure, playing for singers/dancers and a more variety
of palos (Flamenco tunes).
This holiday is priced at £749 (single hotel room)
and £655 per person for two people (sharing twin/double
hotel room). For friends or family who share a hotel room
not take part in the guitar classes pay £499.
Guitarists have 12 hours of tuition over 5 days with local
guitar teacher (including group classes and private classes).
Additional private classes can also be arranged with the
tutor.
The price of this holiday includes breakfast at the hotel,
which is a high quality boutique hotel in the oldest part
of Jerez, transport (including airport transfers) welcome
and farewell meals, group dinner on first day, ticket to
see the Flamenco Guitar Competition, drinks after, dinner
and Tablao show and all guitar tuition.
